Brazilian Content attends Ventana Sur 2025 with 45 companies

With the largest Brazilian delegation ever registered at the event – 45 companies and 48 professionals, a 50% increase compared to 2024 – Brazilian Content arrives at Ventana Sur 2025 to strengthen business, expand partnerships, and position Brazil as one of the protagonists of the Latin American audiovisual market.
Brazilian Content, a program dedicated to the internationalization of independent Brazilian audiovisual production since 2004, will be present for the fourth time at Ventana Sur, one of the main audiovisual markets in Latin America, to be held this year from December 1st to 5th in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Recognized for bringing together the entire production chain of the region, Ventana Sur is today one of the most strategic meeting points between creators, producers, distributors, sales agents, platforms, and international funds on the continent. In this edition, Brazilian Content is bringing a delegation of 45 companies and 48 professionals to the event, representing a growth of over 50% compared to 2024. This advance reinforces Brazil’s consolidation as one of the most present and active countries in the Latin American market.
The delegation brings together professionals from different segments of the industry, seeking opportunities for international co-production, content licensing, service provision, and institutional articulation, strengthening regional exchanges and expanding the circulation of Brazilian production.
NextFrame Program marks the expansion of the city of São Paulo’s presence
The Brazilian participation in Ventana Sur also marks the fourth event on the NextFrame São Paulo agenda, a program that integrates the Spcine’s Training and International Markets Exchange Program, financed by the the Aldir Blanc National Policy (PNAB/MinC), the São Paulo Municipal Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, and the São Paulo City Hall, and executed by the Institute for Brazilian Audiovisual Content – ICAB.
NextFrame offers support to 32 professionals from São Paulo attending the event. These professionals were selected through a public calls that prioritizes diversity, representativeness, and democratization of access. Of these, ICAB is supporting, for the first time, the presence of 6 indigenous filmmakers from São Paulo. The expanded presence of this delegation reinforces the program’s commitment to internationalizing talents of different profiles and backgrounds, aligned with the affirmative action guidelines of PNAB and Spcine.
“Brazilian Content’s participation in Ventana Sur continues to evolve in presence, networking, and results. In addition to the companies that are already building their international trajectory with us, we have managed to significantly expand the Brazilian presence, creating new business opportunities and strengthening the country’s image as an economic and symbolic powerhouse of the audiovisual sector,” highlights Mauro Garcia, executive director of ICAB.
