With a delegation of 13 companies and 14 representatives, Brazilian Content participates for the first time this 2024 in one of the most important business spaces in the Ibero-American audiovisual sector – Iberseries & Platino Industria.
Having participated in several international events since 2004, this is the first time that BrC has organized the presence of the Brazilian delegation at the event. “We want to promote the Brazilian Content program and companies as key players in the Ibero-American audiovisual industry”, says Lucas Soussumi, executive manager of the program.
Brazil will also be present at a panel organized by the event, with the participation of Mauro Garcia, president of BRAVI, Leila Bourdoukan, director of economic development and strategic partnerships at Spcine, producers Gustavo Mello (Boutique Filmes), João Roni (Ocean Films) and Léo Edde (Urca Filmes) and moderation by Rakel Cogliatti, Head of Curatorship at Rio2C.
In its fourth edition, Iberseries & Platino Industria was born from a partnership between Fundación Secuoya and EGEDA (in collaboration with FIPCA), uniting both events (Iberseries and Platino Industria) in a single agenda at the largest Ibero-American audiovisual event. The event aims to give visibility to feature films and series in Spanish and Portuguese, enhance talents from the region and promote international co-productions and the commercialization of content, being a point of confluence between platforms, channels, producers, distributors, buyers and other agents of the Ibero-American audiovisual sector on both sides of the Atlantic.
